This means various workmen will access the roof and walk around up there. Imagine the carpet in your house that you walk on the most. It becomes matted and pressed down compared to the carpet you don’t walk on as much. The same thing happens to the roof.

As workman access the roof to perform maintenance, they will follow a predictable pathway. That pathway will wear fast than the rest of the roof. Adding bright yellow pathway coating tells them where they can walk. And it keeps the roof worn evenly across the roof. Preventing potential damage and leaks due to uneven wear and tear.
